Research Summary

The research interests of the Quantum Optics and Photonics Group are atom-light interaction, ultra-cold gases, Photonics, and quantum information processing.
Our research focuses on the properties of Bose-Einstein condensates,  and we also investigate the generation of solitons and quasi-particles inside the BEC. We have been investigating the interaction of impurity with the BEC. Our research also focuses on the theory of ultra-cold gases in complex optical systems. These complex systems help us to develop advance computational and analytical approaches and their application to specific systems.
We are also investigating quantum electronics in superconducting circuits and hybrid quantum systems. Superconductors systems not only helping the research community to build quantum technologies but also helps to investigate the foundations of quantum mechanics.
